Re: CF10,0,11,285437 global UNC Mapping does not work?

Carl,

We don't have any virtual directories configurated for the "_SharedFiles" folder on any of the IIS servers that run with CF8.

The mapping is handeled by CF, I can also see that when looking at the CF logs.
On CF9 and 10 it doesn't work.

There is a cfm that does cfinclude some of the application templates we got in SharedFiles, but since the mapping doesn't work with newer CF versions it fails to get the correct path to them.

It could be some change on the apache part of the CF server, since I faced the same issue going from Railo3 to Railo4, Railo4 got an update for it thou.
I think it was something about how apache uses escape sequences.

Also, when you browse for paths to map with CF10's admin interface, you only get A,C and D drives, no network drives/computers available there either.
I did work around it, but then I need to pin down those of the 400 sites that doesn't include the cfinclude file, since I don't want to have any vd's to the SharedFiles there.
Again, the mapping part of CF9+10 is borked or has gotten more restricted.
