This issue had occurred to me and I did check the Adobe web site for comparison info but it did not appear to draw and differences on this issue with SOLR running on Standard or Enterprise. Doing a dump of the version info on the prod box show support for context passages for cfsearch so I am using that this is supported as I'm expecting. It wouldn't have been surprised if there were some constraints between the two versions (but it would be nice to find that info on the Adobe web site under version comparisons). However, there was an expressed difference in data import handlers so given the absence of any reference to constraints around context I think its safe to assume its supported. I'm not sure where I might find more definitive info on this question.
And thank you for the offer of consulting but this is one of my hobby sites (I collect legacy computer technology of which I now have about 100 machines) so there's no budget. I pay for hosting out of my own pocket and do all the dev myself :-)
